Movies Netflix To Launch In October-November 2022 On The Streaming Platform

Netflix is home to a wide assortment of motion pictures, from grant winning shows to blockbuster Netflix Movies. With such countless choices to browse, it very well may be difficult to tell where to begin. The following are a couple of the Top Movies Netflix To Launch In October-November 2022:

1. Promising Young Woman

The film “Promising Young Woman” successfully blends the best of two classic cinematic genres: suspense from thrillers and humor from comedies. The incredibly talented Carey Mulligan delivers an outstanding performance.

A thriller that follows a 30-year-old woman as she processes the loss of her best friend by seeking to punish all those involved actively or through indifference in her friend’s suffering.

With a well-written screenplay by the young British writer Emerald Fennell, recognized until now for the BBC series “Killing Eve”. If you’re familiar with the subversive approach of “Killing Eve”, a thriller where the writers and actors don’t take themselves too seriously, then you can get an idea of the approach in “Promising Young Woman”. Furthermore, “Promising Young Woman” won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay in 2021.

2. Lady Chatterley’s Lover (2022)

We continue the article with new Netflix films, featuring a period romantic production. The torrid love story between Lady Chatterley and the gamekeeper on her estate leads her to break all social conventions to live her life with her lover.

The classic love novel by D.H. Lawrence receives a new adaptation, in which Lady Chatterley is portrayed by the 25-year-old British actress Emma Corrin, known for her role as Lady Diana in last year’s season of “The Crown”.

3. The Wonder (2022): Movies Netflix To Launch In October-November 2022

Netflix hit the mark with “The Wonder”. I’ve seen many new Netflix films, but “The Wonder” is truly a wonder. The most mesmerizing film I’ve seen in 2022 by far. Florence Pugh, the British actress in the lead role, completely convinces us of her talent. The intelligence and strength with which she portrays this role at only 26 years old make us say that she’s the new Kate Winslet or Scarlett Johansson.

The story takes place in Ireland after the 19th-century Great Potato Famine when a million Irish died. A nurse from London (Florence Pugh) is called to a village to supervise an 11-year-old girl who hasn’t eaten for 4 months and is considered a saint by the community. A film about beliefs and how far people are willing to go for their certainties.

4. Closer (2004) – Love in a Quadrangle

A film not to be missed and one of our favorite love films, released in 2004 but added to the Netflix lineup only a few days ago.

Somewhat overshadowed undeservedly, “Closer” is one of the deepest love films, a movie that delves into the complexity of love relationships and doesn’t offer a predictable love story. The tears rolling down Natalie Portman’s face will stay with you long after the film ends.

“Closer” revolves around several love stories. While Dan (Jude Law) and Alice (Natalie Portman) struggle to sustain their romantic relationship, Anna (Julia Roberts) and Larry (Clive Owen) go through a bitter breakup after she reveals that she had an affair.

5. All Quiet on the Western Front (2022)

Movies Netflix to launch in October-November 2022

One of the toughest new Netflix films, and probably a contender for next year’s Netflix Oscars. It’s an anti-war film adapted from the famous novel of the same name by Erich Maria Remarque, with Daniel Bruhl in the lead role. The story follows a soldier as he experiences the horrors of World War I. Filming took place in Prague last year, it premiered at the Toronto Film Festival this year, and it was released on Netflix at the end of last month.

It’s a powerful drama with impressive visuals and top-notch cinematography. The only drawback is the graphic depiction of war; the film’s message could have been understood perfectly well without as much blood, dismembered corpses, and bodies thrown in trees.

6.The Good Nurse (2022): Movies Netflix To Launch In October-November 2022

We continue the list of new Netflix films with a real-life-based thriller that premiered on the Netflix lineup on October 26, 2022.

Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne are the lead actors in “The Good Nurse”, a good, well-acted thriller with an ending that comes abruptly and unnaturally. The film is also about how much the medical system in the United States covers up with paperwork and lack of responsibility, much like in Romania. A kind of state within a state.

A ruthless nurse, played by Redmayne, kills over 300 patients over several years. Another nurse, played by Jessica Chastain, helps in capturing the killer. The thriller is based on real events and the documentation from the 2013 best-selling book of the same name by Charles Graeber about the serial killer Charles Cullen.

7. Robbing Mussolini (2022)

One of the most entertaining new Netflix films released recently. If you enjoyed Tarantino’s “Inglorious Basterds”, there’s a chance you’ll also like “Robbing Mussolini”, made in the same tone with suspense, humor, plenty of action, and history. A film in the heist sub-genre, “Robbing Mussolini” centers around a “war-time entrepreneur” who assembles a gang of misfits, each with their special talent, to steal Mussolini’s treasure.

8. The Chalk Line

A Spanish Netflix-produced police and mystery film based on real events, “The Chalk Line” is based on the true story of the “Amstetten Monster” – about a girl kept captive by her own father for 24 years. The film focuses on a couple that emotionally connects with one of the children born from the abuses suffered by this girl.

The main role is played by Elena Anaya, whom you probably saw in Pedro Almodovar’s horror film “The Skin I Live In”.

9. The Luckiest Girl Alive (2022): Movies Netflix To Launch In October-November 2022

A Netflix drama-thriller that rises above the average value of the streaming giant’s productions. So, our verdict is yes, watch it!

Ani, played by Mila Kunis, seems like a superficial young woman. The film starts promisingly with scenes showcasing Ani’s lack of scruples. In fact, we learn that she has a purpose: to profit from her version of the armed attack that occurred in the high school where she studied. It’s nice to see Mila Kunis on screen again after a fairly long hiatus, in a film that’s okay to watch in the evening after work.

10. Mr. Harrigan’s Phone (2022)

In line with the trend of recent years to mash up genres, Netflix adapts a Stephen King novella into a film that aims to be drama, mystery, and horror. Therefore, “Mr. Harrigan’s Phone” is half drama and tries to turn into horror after an hour. Clearly, you can’t make a convincing transformation after spending half the film with comments about how dangerous mobile phone technology is for modern society.

A child is hired by an old and grumpy billionaire, played by Donald Sutherland, to read his favorite books to him a few times a week. Slowly, the child turned adolescent builds a connection with the billionaire. A connection that seems to survive the latter’s disappearance.
