Anora is a film for a 2024 American romantic comedy-drama by Sean Baker. It has Mikey Madison casting as Anora “Ani” Mikheeva, a Brooklyn-based sex worker whose life shifts dramatically after meeting and later on impulsively getting into “Vanya Zakharov,” played by Mark Eydelshteyn, the son of a Russian tycoon. Their romance unfolds into a series of challenges when Vanya’s parents find out about the marriage and want to annul it.

The film received positive reviews and even went on to win the Palme d’Or Anora as the 77th Cannes Film festival on May 21, 2024, which then went on to be released on October 18, 2024 . The story line, as well as acting received major acclaim which means this film is a must-watch.
