After she becomes infatuated with Akshay, it does seem like a glimpse of hope. However, the calculated wrath of Mandor becomes tragic for broken Sonika.

Even in the worst condition, Sonika manages to survive and is ready to take matters into her own hands. The story takes a sudden turn when she decides to go on a revengeful campaign, hunting each and every one of her oppressors one by one till they understand the pain that they put her through.
