📖 Synopsis

Heavier Trip is the sequel to the 2018 cult film Heavy Trip. This film also follows the antics of the Finnish death metal band Impaled Rektum. After a string of blunders, the group members end up in a prison in Norway. After guitarist Lotvonen’s father becomes sick and their family slaughterhouse is set to be torn down, the band stages an escape. Their goal: to play at Germany’s revered Wacken Open Air festival, and in the process reclaim their house. On the journey, they come against go wild with fury against a prison guard, and fall into a trap set by a crooked record label executive who tries to tear them apart. The trip chronicles the band’s tour and their undying love for metal and friendship, and features an unforgettable appearance from Japanese Kawaii-metal phenomenon, BABYMETAL.
