Merry Madagascar
Merry Madagascar is a holiday special animated film emerging from the popular franchise Madagascar, premiered at 2009 during the festive season. In Merry Madagascar David Soren captured the timeless characters Alex the Lion, Gloria the Hippo, Melman the Giraffe, and Marty the Zebra as they set out for another Christmas pursuit. It was released for audience on NBC along with some heartwarming celebration and high spirited animation in which the audience found glee.
Plot Summary
The movie is set after the fictional event of Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. When these four characters are stuck on the island of Madagascar they try to break free from it again but this time, Santa Claus plays a pivotal role as he gets his sleigh shot down by King Julien live fireworks. He then crashes and loses his memory along with the festive essence of Christmas. Alex and his friends disguise as Santa to save the day along with trying to gain presents throughout the night. On the other side, King Julien truly believes that an enchanting hat worn, dressed up as Santa gives him control over everything and just losers himself in the spirit of Christmas. Little did they know, ultimately the essence of the story revolves around the magic of team work. At the end of the movie Santa is able to recover his memory, and the friends learn amiss friendship and holiday glee along the way even though they lose their final chance to go home.
