Marvel Studios has more or less revealed the hype around its next ten movies by announcing their release dates. As already established, not all names have been made public – many more will be announced at the eagerly awaited D23 Expo on August 10. Here’s how things are looking for Marvel’s nine feature films over the next two years, between 2025 and 2027, and a review of each of them.
Marvel Movies in 2025
1. Captain America: Brave New World
Release Date: February 14, 2025
Sam Wilson is the new Captain America in the upcoming movie. This is going to be one more action movie focusing on a political story, and reminiscent of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Ian Blake Nelson’s Samuel Sterns aka The Leader will play a crucial role and the emergence of Red Hulk will be one of the most interesting aspects. If the movie manages to have even a glimpse of the Winter Soldier spirit, it is bound to be a huge hit.
2. Thunderbolts
Release Date: May 2, 2025
The Thunderbolts will consist of a ragtag team of interfighting individuals who are compelled to cooperate with each other. Such characters as John Walker, Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Taskmaster, and Ghost are already confirmed for appearing. However, McHugh alongside Lee will be the major focus of this film as they are the launching point for everything else that follows: Sentry is introduced into the Marvel film universe.
3. Fantastic Four
Release Date: July 25, 2025
The re-imagined Fantastic Four team by Marvel is one of the most awaited things as it marks the next phase for the MCU, which is Phase 6. The film will delve into the origins of the team and is set an alternate timeline which is distinctly in the 1960s but with a futuristic twist. Silver Surfer and Galactus will make appearances along with what is believed to be the first appearance of Franklin Richards, son of Reed Richards. Also, Doctor Doom’s appearance is rumored, paving the way for further plots in the future.
4. Blade
Release Date: November 7, 2025
Marhershala Ali will star as the iconic vampire hunter in Blade’s new revival film which is ‘back-on-track’ after the anticipated ‘Blade’ production delays. This will be next after Deadpool 3 which is an R-rated movie from Marvel, promising strong intensity and focus on dark plot. There is a new creative team in place which will help in execution of the film within the predetermined deadlines.
Marvel Movies in 2026
1. Untitled Marvel Project
Release Date: February 13, 2026
Although the name is not known, there is speculation that it might be a Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. With the storyline unresolved and the multiverse relations left open, there is no question that further development of Doctor Strange’s character is essential for the plot of the MCUs narrative.
2. Avengers: Doom’s Day
Release Date: May 1, 2026
The forthcoming Avengers movie will revolve around the figure of Doctor Doom and will feature in what is believed to be one of the more pertinent entries. As it was in the comics, Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, will have significant connections with Doctor Doom, which will mean he will play a critical role. As the movie establishes one of the biggest villains in Marvel’s history, the movie will also feature the Fantastic Four and other memorable heroes.
3. Untitled Marvel Project
Release Date: November 6, 2026
This film might perhaps deal with the Young Avengers, a team that Marvel has been quietly establishing for several years. Or, it could be that it is a new Thor film, looking to revive the character after Thor: Love and Thunder split the fan base.
Marvel Movies in 2027
1. Avengers: Secret Wars
Release Date: May 7, 2027
Schedulable for next July 2025, Secret Wars will possibly be the most attended Marvel movie of the decade so fans are excited to see what is in store. This movie is going to feature immensely talented cast members including Doctor Doom and Deadpool, along with Spider-Man played by Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. It is expected that just like Infinity War and Endgame, this event will be too large to fit into one single part and might as well get be made over two parts.

Additional Untitled Projects
The days for release for additional sample films have also been shared by Marvel which will be launched on the 23rd of July 2026 and the 5th of November 2026. It is most plausible that these movies are intended to act as intermediaries between the Wests two segments of Secret Wars and will either showcase new or begin to flesh out the characters who would be essential in the final execution.
Secret Wars Part Two
Speculations arise that the final instalment regarding the Secret Wars narrative maybe made available in 2028, marking the end of the Marvel saga.
