David is played by Alvaro Mel, the talented young actor recently seen on HBO Max in the series La Fortuna, in which Stanley Tucci also starred.

4. The Tailor / Season 2 – Premieres on July 28, 2023

If you enjoyed the first season of the Turkish series The Tailor, you’ll be pleased to know that the Turkish producers have already filmed the second season, set to be released on July 28. The Americans could never move this fast!

Netflix tells us about the new season: “Peyami faces new challenges, his friendship with Dimitri is put to the test, and a new woman enters his life, while Esvet spends more time at home with Mustafa.”

6. Painkiller – Premieres on August 10, 2023

A Netflix miniseries consisting of 6 episodes that focuses on the beginning of the opioid crisis in the US. Based on an article from The New Yorker and the book “Pain Killer: An Empire of Deceit and the Origin of America’s Opioid Epidemic” by Barry Meier, the series tells the story of the drug OxyContin, produced by Purdue Pharma.

7. Who is Erin Carter? – Premieres on August 24, 2023

Initially known as Polomino, this new series unravels the mystery behind some crimes and centers around a British professor in Spain who finds himself in the middle of a heist. The series stars Evin Ahmad (pictured), Sean Teale, Douglas Henshall, Susannah Fielding, and Charlotte Vega. The trailer is not available yet.

8. Captain Fall – Premieres on July 28, 2023
